What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device by apps and websites that you visit. Cookies are widely used in order to make websites work, fulfill your preferences, and to provide information to the owners of websites.

| twitch.tv | unique_id | Preserves users states across page requests. |
| twitch.tv | referrer_url | Detects how the user reached the website by registering their last URL-address. |
| twitch.tv | server_session_id | Registers which server-cluster is serving the visitor. This is used in context with load balancing, in order to optimize user experience. |
| twitch.tv | unique_id_durable | Registers whether the user is logged in. This allows the website owner to make parts of the website inaccessible, based on the user's log-in status. |
