You asked for it, and now it's here: Red Bull Untapped returns for 2020! In partnership with both Red Bull and tournament center, players around the world can jump into MTG Arena competition with 16 online events across May and June with a total prize pool of $200,000.

Red Bull teams up with Wizards of the Coast and tournamentcenter once again for Red Bull Untapped 2020!
16 Magic: The Gathering Arena tournaments, each offering a spot for the Untapped 2020 Finals.
April. 30, 2020 – Red Bull, Wizards of the Coast and tournamentcenter proudly announce the return of Red Bull Untapped! One of the most exciting Magic: The Gathering tournament series is back. Red Bull Untapped will feature 16 tournaments played on Magic: The Gathering Arena on PC. The winner of each tournament will earn the chance to compete in the Red Bull Untapped 2020 finals on November 1st, 2020.As one of the earliest advocates of the esports phenomenon and a significant contributor to its ongoing growth, Red Bull has hosted esports events across a wide range of genres, with games including Starcraft 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, the Street Fighter Series and Magic: The Gathering.
Magic: The Gathering is the largest trading card game on the market, with over 38 million players to date and a history of more than 27 years in competitive gaming.
Red Bull Untapped offers a fun and exciting global online experience that is open to all players, so everyone can test their mettle against the best in Magic: The Gathering Arena. Red Bull Untapped returns with a prize pool of $200,000, an impressive field of professional players and an amazing live stream show for those watching at home.
Select content creators, members of the Magic Pro League (MPL), and other top-ranked professional Magic players will be invited to these events. Anyone who wishes to participate and try their hand at beating these titans of the MTG community is welcome in the Red Bull Untapped Online Qualifiers.
Red Bull Untapped 2020 will kick off with two different types on online events:
1) The International Online Qualifiers: No player capacity limit and accessible to everyone worldwide. These will be 2-day events played from home with a prize pool of $5,000 per event.
2) Online Country Qualifiers: Player capacity limit will depend on the region and will be accessible exclusively to players from that region. Prize pool: $5,000 per Online Regional Qualifier divided over Top 8
The health and safety of our players and staff has absolute priority, which is why at this stage we are focused on online events for Untapped 2020. Red Bull Untapped will continue to work in concert with local health and government officials as well as Wizards of the Coast to determine the best course toward hosting an exciting and safe global finals event in November.
