It's a new year full of events and qualification opportunities for the Pro Tour and World Championship! Regional Championships, and their qualifier events at local game stores, continue across 2025 and into 2026, and it's nearly time for the first Pro Tour of the year: Pro Tour Aetherdrift taking place at MagicCon: Chicago, February 21–23.
This is the schedule of 2025 Pro Tours, each at a MagicCon event:
- February 21–23, 2025: Pro Tour Aetherdrift at MagicCon: Chicago
- June 20–22, 2025: Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering®—FINAL FANTASY™ at MagicCon: Las Vegas
- September 26–28, 2025: Pro Tour Edge of Eternities at MagicCon: Atlanta
Regional Championships for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY take place over the next several weeks, and Regional Championship Qualifiers at your local game store for Pro Tour Edge of Eternities are underway now and will continue through March 22.
For Pro Tours taking place in the 2026 season, the first qualifying season will begin later this year with many of the same regional organizers. Two regions will move to new organizers.
Australia/New Zealand
Let's Play Games will assume the Regional Championship partnership from Good Games, beginning with the final Regional Championship of 2025 (qualifying players for the first Pro Tour of the 2026 season).
- March 7–9, 2025: Regional Championship Sydney at ANZ Super Series Finals, presented by Good Games. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY at MagicCon: Las Vegas this September.
- May 9–11, 2025: Regional Championship Melbourne at ANZ Super Series Finals, presented by Good Games. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Edge of Eternities at MagicCon: Atlanta this September.
- October 25–26, 2025: Regional Championship at ANZ Super Series Finals, presented by Let's Play Games. This event qualifies players for the first Pro Tour taking place in 2026.
The latest information about qualifying and competing for the Regional Championship at the ANZ Super Series Finals will continue to be found at the ANZ Super Series website.
South America and Brazil
Devir BR will assume the Regional Championship partnerships from Magicsur (organizer for South America) and City Class Games (organizer for Brazil) beginning with the final Regional Championship of 2025 (qualifying players for the first Pro Tour of the 2026 season).
Devir BR will run one Regional Championship event covering the combined Brazil and South America regions, with a total $40,000 prize pool, ten Pro Tour invitations, and two World Championship invitations per each event. Invitations do not pass down if earned by a player with another invitation.
- January 25–26, 2025: Regional Championship São Paulo at City Class Showdown, presented by City Class. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY at MagicCon: Las Vegas this September.
- March 15–16, 2025: Regional Championship Santiago at South American Magic Series, presented by Magicsur. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY at MagicCon: Las Vegas this September.
- May 3–4, 2025: Regional Championship at City Class Showdown, presented by City Class. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Edge of Eternities at MagicCon: Atlanta this September.
- May 31–June 2, 2025: Regional Championship Santiago at South American Magic Series, presented by Magicsur. This event qualifies players for Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY at MagicCon: Las Vegas this September.
- TBD 2025: Regional Championship, presented by Devir BR. This event qualifies players for the first Pro Tour taking place in 2026.
