2017-18 Premier Play Leaderboard

November 01, 2018
Wizards of the Coast

The 2017-18 premier play leaderboard showcases the top-ranked players, with ranking determined by Professional Points, in the 2017-18 premier play season. Premier play events include Grand Prix, Pro Tours, the World Magic Cup, and the World Championship. For Grand Prix, the best six finishes are counted towards seasonal Pro Points. Those six best finishes are displayed on this leaderboard, and are labeled "GP1" to "GP6" in order of best finish at a Grand Prix.

The player with the most Pro Points over the course of a season is identified as the season's Player of the Year. The players with the most Pro Points over the course of a season within their geo-region (North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America) will be identified as their geo-region's champion for the season.

In addition, the points listed below are the Professional Points totals that will be used to determine Pro Players Club levels for and invitations to top tournaments.*

*Pro Point-based invitations for the 2018 World Championship will be based on Professional Point totals in the 2017-18 Professional Points season through August 5, 2018 (not the entire season). Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and World Magic Cup invitations will be determined at he conclusion of the 2017-18 season after September 16, 2018.
