Arena Championship 12 is almost here, and 110 of MTG Arena's top players will face off for $250,000 in cash prizes, invitations to the Pro Tour, and beyond! You won't want to miss a second of it. Follow along on May 23-24 and be among the first to see who wins.


What Are the Formats?

Arena Championship 12 will feature the Historic format. Day One of the event will include eight (8) rounds of a modified version of Swiss. That is, players will play rounds of Swiss until they receive either six (6) wins or three (3) losses, so up to eight (8) total rounds.

Day Two of the Event will feature some number of Top 16 qualification matches depending on how many players reach six (6) wins on Day One followed by a single-elimination Top 16.

What Can Players Win?

Arena Championship 12 features a $250,000 prize pool. Here's how it breaks down:

In addition to the cash prizes, the Top 16 Players of Arena Championship 12 will be invited to Pro Tour Magic: The Gathering® | Marvel Super Heroes in RAI Amsterdam. Additionally, the finalists of Arena Championship 12 will be invited to Magic World Championship 32 at MagicCon: Atlanta, taking place in 2026.

How Can I Follow the Event?

Arena Championship 12 will be streamed live beginning at 9 a.m. PT each day, May 23–24 at twitch.tv/magic and the Play MTG YouTube channel.

You will find decklists for the event at the Arena Championship 12 Melee.gg event page, with round-by-round standings and updates provided through the live broadcast.

Can I Co-Stream the Event?

Following Twitch's content-sharing guidelines, you can co-stream the Arena Championship 12 broadcast from twitch.tv/magic using OBS or XSplit. This allows anyone on Twitch to cover the event in their voice and with their community. To be clear, co-streamed content is not endorsed by Wizards, and we expect anyone who participates in co-streaming to follow Wizards of the Coast's Fan Content Policy.
