Star Trek Las Vegas
(August 5–9, 2026)
Riot Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada
As we journey through Sector 001, we are excited for one of our first stops to be Star Trek Las Vegas: Trek to Vegas, the largest dedicated Star Trek fan gathering in the world. This August, Magic: The Gathering is excited to join ST:LV as the presenting partner, bringing themed experiences and tons of special moments (with talent you may recognize) to fans of every era of Star Trek.
Whether you're an Ensign Magic player or completely new to the game, we invite you to take part in Magic: First Contact, a learn-to-play experience featuring guided demos that are specially designed to welcome you into Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek.
For those curious about the worldbuilding behind the set, join us for a featured panel hosted by Lead Designer Gavin Verhey. Explore how six decades of Star Trek storytelling, characters, and iconic moments were brought into Magic: The Gathering for the fans across the franchise.

MagicCon: Atlanta
(November 13–15, 2026)

The journey continues at MagicCon: Atlanta where Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek expands into one of our most galactic gatherings of the year. For the weekend, Star Trek will take the helm with immersive spaces, themed experiences, play events, retail offerings, and much more, ensuring there's something for every member of your MagicCon crew to enjoy.
Play events and cosplay are some of the primary ways you can engage with Star Trek throughout the event. MagicCon: Atlanta will feature the Magic World Championship, themed ticketed play events, and creator- and celebrity-hosted play sessions that will bring fans closer to the worlds and stories they know and love. Cosplayers are invited to take part in our Star Trek theme day, and cosplayers will be eligible for the Cosplay Contest for Star Trek-inspired looks.
Attendees will also be able to collect two Star Trek-themed promo cards while supplies last: Explore and Fact or Fiction.

Our mission officially begins at San Diego Comic-Con, where Magic: The Gathering and Star Trek fans will be able to enjoy an early look at the upcoming set. There will be oversized card displays and digital showcases, an appearance from Lead Designer Gavin Verhey, and themed photo opportunities where you can step into a Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek card moment. Be sure to also grab the promo card for this event, Kirk, Enterprising Captain, available while supplies last.
New York Comic Con

Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek will appear alongside our other highlights at NYCC, where fans can enjoy more learn-to-play demos, retail events, and themed experiences that transport you aboard the Enterprise.

PAX Unplugged

PAX Unplugged is the final stop on this epic trek, bringing Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek to one of the premier tabletop gaming events of the year. The weekend features more immersive experiences, learn-to-play events, and other themed play events.
