Legacy and Vintage Magic take center stage at Eternal Weekend in 2026! We're bringing three weekends of high-power Magic, featuring Legacy and Vintage events with sweet new promo cards. Whether this is your first Eternal Weekend or you're a seasoned Delver pilot, you can celebrate Eternal Magic and its community at these events.

What Is Eternal Weekend?

Eternal Weekends are weekend-long events that focus on some of Magic's most powerful and most expansive formats: Legacy and Vintage.

Legacy Constructed allows players to build a 60-card deck out of nearly any Magic card. You'll see old favorites like Force of Will alongside new powerhouses like Nethergoyf. It's fast, powerful, and full of exciting deck archetypes. Vintage Constructed allows players to build decks from the most powerful cards in Magic's history. Ancestral Recall? It's here. Time Walk? Get ready to take extra turns. Black Lotus? That's fair game!

Both Legacy and Vintage are the focus of Eternal Weekend, and each event will host a Legacy Championship and Vintage Championship where enthusiasts of either or both formats may compete for their share of prizes, as well as the glory of being dubbed the Legacy or Vintage Champion!

There are also plenty of side events featuring Legacy, Vintage, and more, so check with your event's organizer for more details on their offerings.

Eternal Weekend 2026 Promo Cards

Players at 2026's Eternal Weekends will compete for more than just bragging rights. Each Legacy Championship and Vintage Championship features a special promo card themed around Eternal Magic. Let's check out the Eternal Weekend promo cards for 2026!

For lovers of lands and Legacy, we've got a very verdant promo card for you. The Top 32 finishers of each Legacy Championship will receive a non-foil retro frame Life from the Loam promo card with art by Hristo D. Chukov. The Top 8 players will also receive traditional foil copies of this promo card.

Who wants to draw three cards? That's a trick question; everyone wants to draw three cards. The Top 32 finishers of each Vintage Championship will receive a non-foil retro frame Treasure Cruise promo card with art by Ralph Horsley. The Top 8 players will also receive traditional foil copies of this promo card.

Eternal Weekend 2026 Locations

There will be three Eternal Weekends in 2026, each on a different continent with a different organizer.

• October 29–November 1, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—hosted by Pastimes
• December 3–6, 2026, in Lucca, Italy—hosted by 4Seasons
• December 5–6, in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan—hosted by Hareruya
