In celebration of Lunar New Year and kicking off with events in February, there are new promo cards themed for the Year of the Dragon for players to pick up!

Across APAC, except for Japan, these promos will be part of the APAC League returning for 2024. In Japan, select in-store Standard and Limited events will share these new promo cards. And elsewhere globally, Standard Showdown events February 9–18 are where players can find these promos available.

Check with your local game store for details on how you can acquire these promos!

APAC League Returns for 2024

Updated for a new year, the APAC League is a year-long series of events featuring the Standard format, a championship playoff, and beautiful Year of the Dragon promo cards for players. Through Lunar New Year Celebration events running until March 31, both promo cards above as well as a 4/4 Dragon creature token are available for players.

Then, across four qualifying seasons at participating stores, additional Standard events and Year of the Dragon promos can be acquired.

• Qualifier Season 1 (Standard) with Outlaws of Thunder Junction—Promo: Steel Hellkite
• Qualifier Season 2 (Modern, Standard, Draft, or Sealed) with Modern Horizons 3—Promo: Full-Art Mountain
• Qualifier Season 3 (Standard) with Bloomburrow—Promo: Korvold, Fae-Cursed King
• Qualifier Season 4 (Standard) with Duskmourn: House of Horror—Promo: Dragon Tempest

Each season offers players opportunities to qualify for the year-end December championship event. Additional details for each qualifying season and the December championship will be available later—check with your local game store for the latest information and event schedule. (Note: APAC League events are available at participating WPN game stores across APAC outside of Japan.)
