Mark your calendars. Book your flights. Break out your best Commander deck, your most polished cosplay, and your finest "NOPE" shirt—Wizards of the Coast is hosting Magic 30, the ultimate celebration of three decades of Magic: The Gathering in Las Vegas, October 28–30.

Magic's 30th Anniversary is going to be a year-long celebration, and we're starting the party with a blowout event hosted at the EXPO at World Market Center.

Tickets for the celebration will go on sale in July, with a range of ticket options, including virtual tickets for those who can't make the trip starting at $30 and single-day general admission starting at $75 (please note pricing is exclusive of applicable service fees and sales tax). Weekend passes, VIP, and Commander-specific tickets will be available as well. More specific details around ticket packages will be announced in July, along with more information about events, panels, special guests, and exclusives you can only get at Magic 30.

What party favors can we share now? Glad you asked!

We've partnered with ReedPop (the people behind PAX events), and together we'll be pulling out all the stops for this kickoff event with something for everyone. Magic 30 will feature:

• A Modern tournament that feeds into a Top 8 Beta draft. Yes, Limited Edition Beta.
• The return of The Command Zone dedicated play area plus a few Commander aficionados stopping by in Gavin Verhey, Jimmy Wong, and Josh Lee Kwai
• Unfinity events hosted by none other than Mark Rosewater
• Some of the most talented cosplayers in Magic, including Olivia Gobert-Hicks and Taalia Vess (with more coming!)
• Parties Friday and Saturday night (ticketed, but included in the VIP all-access pass)
• Magic World Championship XXVIII
• An exclusive Secret Lair
• Panels, interviews, and special content featuring the very people who make Magic: The Gathering
• Mystery Booster drafts

And of course, what would a Magic birthday party be without the one and only Richard Garfield, who will be joining us virtually to celebrate 30 years of what Dr. Garfield invented. We'll announce even more guests as we get closer to the event.

We know that not everyone will make our birthday bash, which is why in addition to virtual tickets and events, we'll also have a product offering online that will let players order things like Mystery Booster draft sets, Commander decks, and more to throw their own party at home.

But why stop at one birthday when you can celebrate for a year? We're bringing the gathering back in a big way all throughout 2023, with four multiday celebrations of all that is Magic: The Gathering. Our first post-Vegas stop will be Philadelphia, PA, USA in February, which will also play host to the first Pro Tour of 2023! We'll share more details on these events as we get closer to 2023.
