The current round of Regional Championship Qualifiers is underway, and we've been covering the action here on Magic.gg. As we approach the next round of RCQs, we wanted to update you on some future events, including future RCQs, Magic Spotlight events, and the return of Eternal Weekend. For more information, read on!
Upcoming Regional Championship Qualifiers
The third round of 2025–26's RCQs will begin on August 2, 2025, and will run until November 9, 2025. All WPN stores, as well as destination event organizers, will be running RCQs that feed into the round of Regional Championships that runs from January 24, 2026, to March 22, 2026.
RCQs run during this round can be scheduled by participating WPN stores as Standard Constructed or Limited. Larger events that are designated as "destination" qualifiers—events run in larger venues such as hotel ballrooms or convention centers—may be run as other Constructed formats. Please check with your local organizer for all specific info on qualifiers closest to you.
Additionally, the product lineup for Limited may differ depending on when the event is taking place, as this round will span multiple booster releases, so check with your organizer for the specific details if it is run as Limited.
For these events' promos, we're wrangling up some mighty-fine cards. You can earn these promo cards while supplies last during this round of RCQs.
All RCQ participants during this round will receive a non-foil Shoot the Sheriff promo card illustrated by Dan Black, with Top Finishers also receiving a non-foil Laughing Jasper Flint promo card with art by Ed Repka. Players who qualify for their Regional Championship will also receive a traditional foil Laughing Jasper Flint promo card.*
*Promotional cards received where available and while supplies last. Prize promo availability may differ by region and may change at Wizards of the Coast's discretion. Check with your regional tournament organizer and hosting game store for more information.
