As April begins, and our latest online events continue evolving, we continue to monitor the latest information and direction from government and health officials regarding COVID-19. Learn more about all the ways Wizards of the Coast—including Magic Esports—is responding so you can stay at home and play at home while connected to your local Magic community.

April 2020 Mythic Point Challenge

The next Mythic Point Challenge is here, with all the action going down this Saturday, April 4. This is the first opportunity for competitors to earn Mythic Points and be among the top in standings to earn invitation to Mythic Invitational Zendikar Rising.

The top 1,200 Mythic-ranked competitors from March on MTG Arena will be competing. If you’re qualified, be sure to check out the event details and complete Mythic Point Challenge rules so you’re ready for the Saturday showdown.

April 2020 Ranked Season

The April 2020 Ranked Season for MTG Arena is underway! This month features card styles for Soul-Guide Lantern and Nightmare Shepherd can be earned, with the top 1,200 Mythic-ranked competitors earning invitation to the May 2020 Mythic Qualifier for Mythic Invitational Zendikar Rising.

MagicFest Online

MagicFest Online is an all-new way to play MTG Arena and compete for prize pools up to $50,000! If you missed the announcement two weeks ago, MagicFest Online begins with Daily Qualifiers where top finishing players are invited to the Weekly Championship. The top finishers from Weekly Championships are invited to the $50,000 Season Final—and you can still qualify for the first by jumping into a Daily Qualifier by April 3.

Magic Online Super Qualifiers

In addition to the new MagcFest Online events, new Super Qualifiers have been added to Magic Online. Each one qualifies two players to an upcoming event, plus award full sets and more as prizes—and are in addition to Preliminary events that also lead to Players Tour qualification.

Super Qualifiers are being scheduled weekly, with formats including Pioneer, Legacy, and Modern, so check the latest schedule of Magic Online events to find the next one you want to play in.
